Mires and Peat Editorial Board, May 2024
The Editorial Board (EB) is appointed by agreement between the Main Board of the International Mire Conservation Group (IMCG) and the Board of the International Peatland Society (IPS). It consists of internationally acknowledged researchers in the fields covered by the Journal and aims for wide international representation. It is responsible for editorial policy, standards, and the general management of the Journal. The Editor-in-Chief, assisted by the Deputy, is responsible for the overall management of the Journal. Associate Editors assist in developing editorial policy, in maintaining journal standards, in matters relating to ISI accreditation, and in assessing the suitability of manuscripts for publication. They are recommended by the Editor-in-Chief and approved by the relevant IPS and IMCG Boards. Co-ordinating Editors and Article Editors are Associate Editors who have made a highly valued commitment to routinely take responsibility for the processing and quality of individual manuscripts. The Web Administrator designs, maintains and manages the journal's publishing website. The current membership of the EB is given below.
